What are the interface types of image acquisition cards?

Image acquisition card, also known as image capture card, is a hardware device that can obtain digital video image information, store and play it out. Its function is to collect image signals into the computer and save them on the hard disk in the form of data files. It is an indispensable hardware device for image processing. Through it, the video signal shot by the camera can be transferred from the video tape to the computer, and the digital video signal can be post-edited using relevant video editing software, such as cutting the screen, adding filters, subtitles and sound effects, setting transition effects, and adding various video special effects. Finally, the edited video signal is converted into standard VCD, DVD and popular online media formats for easy dissemination.
In terms of acquisition card interface standards, there are PCI, PCI-E, IEEE1394, USB2.0/USB3.0, etc. Therefore, according to the video signal input and output interface, the image acquisition card can be divided into 1394 acquisition card, USB image acquisition card, HDMI acquisition card, DVI acquisition card, VGA acquisition card, PCI acquisition card, PCI-E acquisition card, etc.

The interface of the acquisition card includes the interface between the video and the PC and the interface with the analog video device. At present, PC industrial acquisition cards usually use 32-bit PCI bus interface, which is inserted into the expansion slot of PC motherboard to realize communication and data transmission between acquisition card and PC.
Acquisition card must have at least one composite video interface (VideoIn) to connect to analog video equipment. High-performance acquisition cards generally have one composite video interface and one S-Video interface. General acquisition cards support PAL and NTSC TV formats.
It should be noted that image acquisition cards generally do not have TV antenna interface and audio input interface. Image acquisition cards cannot be used to directly acquire TV RF signals, nor can they directly acquire audio signals in analog video. To acquire audio, the PC must be equipped with a sound card. VGA video acquisition card obtains digital audio through the 33 sound card on the PC and synchronizes the audio with the acquired digital video.
