What is a BNC video connector?

BNC connector is a connector for coaxial cable. Its full English name is Bayonet Nut Connector (the name vividly describes the appearance of this connector). It is also called British Naval Connector (probably the first connector used by the British Navy) or Bayonet Neill Conselman (Neill Conselman bayonet, this connector was invented by a man named Neill Conselman).
BNC interface refers to the coaxial cable interface. BNC interface is used for 75 ohm coaxial cable connection. It provides two channels, receive (RX) and transmit (TX). It is used for the connection of unbalanced signals.

BNC is a video transmission standard device, which has been widely used in the field of color displays. The main function of the BNC (coaxial cable card ring interface) interface is to connect high-end home theater products and professional video equipment. BNC cable has 5 connectors, which receive red, green, blue, horizontal synchronization and vertical synchronization signals respectively.
Its video signal input lines are composed of five lines: R, G, B, horizontal scanning, and vertical scanning. This connector can separate the input signals of the three primary colors in the video and make them independent of each other, which can minimize interference and improve the video input characteristics.
For this reason, the BNC method has always been one of the characteristics of professional-level monitors. The BNC connector can reduce the interference between video signals and achieve the best signal response effect. In addition, due to the special design of the BNC interface, the connection is very tight, and there is no need to worry about the interface being loose and causing poor contact.
