From the picture, the signal comes from the USB4 port, and USB 3.2 and PCIe pass through a certain amount of transit to the USB4 port on the other end.
1. USB 3.2 data transmission path
As shown in the red line in the figure, the USB3 upstream port adapter passes the separated USB 3.2 data from the USB4 port to the enhanced SuperSpeed hub, and then the enhanced SuperSpeed hub transmits the data. There are two USB3 downstream port adapters, and the single transmission selection goes through One of them is then transmitted to one of the two USB4 ports, and finally the USB 3.2 data is transmitted through the USB Type-C port.
2. USB 2.0 data transmission path
As shown by the yellow line in the figure, the USB 2.0 hub transmits USB 2.0 data directly through the USB Type-C port, and can expand multiple USB 2.0 data at the same time.
3. PCIe data transmission path
As shown by the green line in the figure, the PCIe upstream port adapter passes the separated PCIe data from the USB4 port to the PCIe switch, and then the PCIe switch transmits the data. There are two PCIe downstream port adapters. A single transmission is sele-cted through one of them, and then Transmit to one of the two USB4 ports, and finally transmit the PCIe data through the USB Type-C port.
4. DisplayPort transmission path
As shown in the purple line in the figure, the DisplayPort signal is directly transmitted from one USB4 port to the USB4 port on the other end without any other transfer. You can also separate the signal from the USB4 input port to the DisplayPort output adapter to connect to the monitor display.
