The USB-C interface, or TYPE-C, is divided into two types, the high-end interface that is the socket, and the plug that is used to connect the cable end.
The USB socket TYPE-C contains 24 pins. The full-featured TYPE-C cable includes two TYPE-C connectors. There are 22 wires in the cable connecting the connectors at both ends. The two missing ones are the sockets at both ends, B6 and B7, and there is no cable connection between them.
The interface definition and physical effects of TYPE-C socket are as follows:
TYPE-C is divided into forward insertion socket and rev-erse insertion socket. Different insertion methods have different cable connection methods at both ends.
1. When the plug is inserted forward, A1~A12 of the socket are connected to A1~A12 of the plug, and B1~B12 of the plug are connected to B1~B12 of the plug.
2. When the plug is inserted in reve-rse, A1~A12 of the socket is connected to B1~B12 of the plug, and B1~B12 of the plug is connected to A1~A12 of the plug.
