How to perform wired screencasting on a mobile phone?
How to perform wired screencasting on a mobile phone?
1. Confirm the phone model and whether it supports the wired screen projection function.
2. If your phone supports wired screen projection, you need to use a Type-C to HDMI converter or conversion cable.
3. If the mobile phone supports the full-featured Type-C port, you can directly connect the mobile phone or pad to an external monitor or TV to achieve screencasting without delay.
4. If you only have a monitor or TV with an HDMI port, you can try using a Type-C to HDMI converter or conversion cable.
5. Switch the signal input of the large-screen monitor to HDMI input mode.
6. Confirm whether the Type-C to HDMI converter or cable used supports the mobile phone model and is DP Altmode (display output), otherwise it may not be supported.
7. Plug in the Type-C to HDMI converter or conversion cable to cast the mobile phone screen to a monitor or TV.
8. You can use mobile phone screen mirroring software, such as scrcpy, etc., to realize screen mirroring on mobile phones without downloading.
9. If you encounter connection problems, you can try to check whether the cable is normal and whether the device supports a Type-C to HDMI converter or conversion cable.
It should be noted that not all mobile phones support the wired screen projection function. If the mobile phone does not support direct conversion from Type-C to HDMI, even if it does, it is not called HDMI conversion, but a DP interface.
