What is the average response time of a USB2.0 hub?

USB2.0 hubs have stricter time delay requirements relative to device response. Worst case request time requirements are as follows (for standard and hub class requests):
  1. Request completion time in the no-data phase: 50ms
  2. Completion time of standard requests with data phase:
Time from setting up the data packet to the first data stage: 50ms
Time between each subsequent data phase: 50ms
The time between the last data phase and the status phase: 50ms
Since the hub plays a vital role in bus enumeration, it is recommended that the average response time of the hub is less than 5 milliseconds for all requests.
