What interfaces do USB port colors represent?
USB ports and connectors are sometimes color-coded to indicate which USB specifications and features they support. These colors are not required by the USB specification and are not consistent between device manufacturers. For example, Intel uses orange to represent charging ports, while an industrial equipment component manufacturer chose orange to represent USB ports with strong retention mechanisms.
