OWC unveils updated Thunderbolt dock
OWC has launched a new line of accessories compatible with Apple Mac devices, including a Thunderbolt 4 portable SSD and updated dock, a 3.5-inch drive bay, and a USB-C travel dock.
Thunderbolt docking stations feature a range of different connectivity options that expand the port selection on your computer. It has three Thunderbolt 4 ports, four USB-A ports, an SD card reader, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It connects to your computer via a single Thunderbolt port and can drive up to two dual 4K displays or a single 5K, 6K or 8K display. It also supports high-performance storage solutions such as NVMe. audio-visual mixer; and a range of other accessories.

OWC also launched the USB-C Travel Dock, which features two USB-3 ports, an HDMI port, an SD card reader, and a Gigabit Ethernet port. It also features 100W of pass-through power to keep the device powered but still maintain the "size and weight of a hockey puck."
For users on the go, the USB-C Travel Dock is committed to providing bus-powered Dock functionality in remote workflows. It's compatible with Thunderbolt 3, but not Thunderbolt 4.
Along with the dock, the accessory maker also launched the Envoy Pro FX, which it calls the "fastest, most compatible portable drive ever."
Envoy Pro FX features durable, high-performance read and write speeds. It is encased in an aluminum casing and has an IP67 dust and water resistance rating. It is compatible with Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4 and USB4.
