Precautions for installing the built-in video capture card

Most built-in video capture cards use PCIE slots, which are expansion slots next to the network card on the computer motherboard, connected to the PCI bus.
PCIE video capture card installation process:
  1. Turn off the computer power, open the chassis, and install the video capture card on an empty PCIE slot.
  2. Remove the screws from the video capture card packaging box and fix the video capture card on the chassis.
  3. Connect the camera's signal cable to the video capture card.

After installing the video capture card, you also need to install the software. The steps are as follows:
  1. Install the driver. Many video capture cards require the driver to be installed before the video capture card can be used.
  2. Put the installation disk of the video capture card into the optical drive. The manual will indicate which CD is the driver disk. The text on the CD usually says "driver" in Chinese and "driver" or "install" in English.
  3. Select the relevant model video capture card driver. The CD that comes with the product also has pages, which generally contain drivers for a series of products of the company, so you should choose the same model video capture card driver.
  4. Select "Install Driver", "Install SDK Development Kit", and "Install Application" in sequence. Start the computer, and the system will display that new hardware has been found. Insert the video capture card driver CD into the CD-ROM drive and install it.
  5. Restart the computer to complete the software installation.
