Product Description
True 40Gbps Thunderbolt 3 / USB4 — Industrial-Grade Throughput
The TB069 is built on the Intel-certified JHL7440 Thunderbolt controller, delivering the full 40Gbps of Thunderbolt 3 / USB4 bandwidth — 4× faster than USB 3.2 Gen2 and 8× faster than USB 3.0. Whether ingesting 8K footage, distributing massive engineering files, or driving multiple 4K displays, a single cable handles it all without bottlenecking your external storage or peripherals.

Dual M.2 NVMe Bays with Software RAID up to 40Gbps
More than a docking station — TB069 is also a dual-bay NVMe SSD enclosure. The two M.2 M-Key slots (slots ⑫ and ⑬) both accept NVMe SSDs in 2280 form factor, each delivering up to 20Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen2×2). Configured as a software RAID array, the two drives reach a theoretical 40Gbps combined throughput — comparable to a local PCIe SSD. Video editors can dedicate one drive to media and another to cache; enterprise users can mirror data in real time; DIT operators can offload massive footage on-set in minutes. Tool-free installation; silicone plugs and thermal pads included.
Type-C + HDMI Dual Video — Up to 8K@60Hz
Powered by the GSV2201E display bridge with DP 1.4 MST, the TB069 supports up to 7680×4320@60Hz (8K) through Type-C and 4096×2160@60Hz (4K) through HDMI. Run dual displays in mirror or extended mode for video editing, design, finance trading desks, medical imaging, or any multi-monitor production setup. On USB-C DP Alt Mode hosts (DP 1.2 MST), dual displays are supported at 4K@30Hz + 2K@60Hz.

100W PD Pass-Through with 60W Reverse Charging
The dedicated Type-C PD/DC input accepts up to 100W (DC 5~20V) via the CH224K PD 3.0 controller. After dynamic power reservation for the dock, fan, and dual SSDs, up to 60W is delivered upstream to the host laptop — enough for full-speed charging of mainstream 13"–16" business notebooks and the MacBook Pro 14. The downstream Type-C port also provides up to 15W for charging phones and tablets.
Aluminum Unibody + 5300RPM Active Cooling
Aerospace-grade aluminum unibody with anodized phantom grey finish, measuring just 110.2 × 66.4 × 23.6 mm. A built-in 5300RPM / 28dBA whisper-quiet cooling fan (with one-touch on/off button) works in tandem with the aluminum chassis to form a dual passive-plus-active heat path, keeping dual NVMe SSDs and the Thunderbolt controller stable under extended high load. Engineered for 24/7 industrial operation.
Broad Compatibility — Plug & Play
Compatible with Windows 8/10/11 (32/64-bit), macOS 10.X and later, and Linux. Verified on Apple MacBook Pro (2015–2019), Microsoft Surface Pro, ASUS ZenBook, and other mainstream Thunderbolt-equipped systems. Note: requires a host with Thunderbolt 3 or USB4 port — standard USB-C laptops without Thunderbolt are not supported.

Q1: Does TB069 require a Thunderbolt-equipped laptop, or will a standard USB-C laptop work?
A1: TB069 requires a host with Thunderbolt 3 or USB4 port. Standard USB-C laptops (USB 3.x only, no Thunderbolt) cannot recognize the dock. Please verify the host's port specification before purchasing.
Q2: Do the two M.2 SSDs have to be configured as RAID? Can I use them as two independent drives?
A2: Yes, independent operation is fully supported. Each slot is recognized as a separate 20Gbps drive without affecting the other. Software RAID is only required if you want the combined 40Gbps throughput.
Q3: Do the M.2 slots support SATA SSDs?
A3: No. Both slots accept NVMe-protocol M.2 SSDs (M-Key) only. AHCI/SATA SSDs are not supported. Please confirm NVMe when sourcing drives.
Q4: How much power actually reaches the laptop with 100W PD input?
A4: The PD input accepts up to 100W Max. After dynamic reservation for the dock, fan, and dual SSDs (~30–40W total), up to 60W is delivered upstream to the host laptop — sufficient for full-speed charging on mainstream business notebooks and the MacBook Pro 14.
Q5: What's the maximum dual-display resolution?
A5: On Thunderbolt 3 / USB4 hosts, simultaneous Type-C + HDMI output reaches 7680×4320@60Hz (Type-C, 8K) + 3840×2160@60Hz (HDMI, 4K). On USB-C DP Alt Mode (DP 1.2) hosts, dual displays max out at 3840×2160@30Hz (Type-C) + 2560×1440@60Hz (HDMI).
Q6: Is the fan loud? Can it be turned off?
A6: The fan is rated 5300RPM / 28dBA (close to library ambient noise) and is barely audible during normal use. A dedicated one-touch button on the side of the dock toggles the fan on/off. We recommend keeping it on during sustained dual-SSD high-throughput workloads.
Q7: Are there any precautions when using auxiliary PD power?
A7: When using PD power, always connect the PD adapter to the dock first, then connect the laptop. Reversing the order will disable DC input, and the host may fail to recognize the TB069 after replugging the upstream cable. Maintain at least 10 seconds between hot-plug operations on any port.
Q8: Do I need an external power supply when all ports are loaded?
A8: Strongly recommended. When USB-A connects to high-power devices (2.5"/3.5" mobile drives, high-draw card readers) or both SSDs run sustained high-speed I/O, always connect the PD adapter first, then attach the high-power devices, otherwise screen flicker or device-recognition failures may occur.
Q9: Does the TB069 support OEM / wholesale customization?
A9: Yes. We support custom LOGO laser engraving, housing color, Thunderbolt cable length, retail packaging, and multilingual user manuals. Please contact our sales team for MOQ and customization specifics.
Q10: What's the warranty?
A10: B2B bulk orders include a standard 24-month warranty with free DOA replacement within 30 days. Specific terms follow the purchase agreement.
