Product Description
One USB-C Port, Five Downstream Connections
The HB3027 turns a single USB-C port on your laptop, tablet, or smartphone into a full connectivity hub with 3× USB-A 3.0 and 2× USB-C 3.0 downstream ports. Every port runs at up to 5Gbps SuperSpeed and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices — connect mice, keyboards, flash drives, external SSDs, card readers, printers, and more without compatibility headaches.

Dedicated DC Power Input — Power Where It Matters
Unlike passive hubs that share the host's limited bus power across all ports, the HB3027 features a dedicated USB-C DC input supporting 5V/4A (20W). Plug in a standard USB-C power adapter and the hub delivers stable power to every downstream port simultaneously — ideal for powering multiple external drives, charging phones while transferring data, or running bus-powered peripherals that would otherwise fail on an unpowered hub.
∙ USB-A 3.0 ports: 5V / 0.9A output each
∙ USB-C 3.0 ports: 5V / 1.5A output each (supports faster phone charging)
Built on a Proven USB 3.1 Hub Controller
The hub is powered by an industry-standard USB 3.1 hub controller IC known for its thermal stability, low power consumption, and broad device compatibility. No drivers are required — it works plug-and-play across all major operating systems.

Plug-and-Play Across Every Major OS
Tested and verified compatible with a wide range of USB-C laptops and devices:
∙ Windows 8 / 10 (32 & 64-bit) and later
∙ macOS 10.x and later
∙ Linux distributions
∙ Tablets, desktops, and smartphones with USB-C Alt Mode / DP-out support
Pocket-Sized, Travel-Ready Design
At 60.16 × 60.16 × 12.85 mm with a built-in 15 cm USB-C + A combo cable, the HB3027 is small enough to fit inside a phone pouch. The textured ABS shell resists fingerprints and gives a comfortable matte feel. No bulky dongle, no loose cable tangles — just pull it out, plug it in, and connect.

Q1: Do I need to install any drivers?
A1: No. The HB3027 is fully plug-and-play on Windows 8/10/11, macOS 10.x and later, and major Linux distributions. Just plug it in and all ports are ready to use immediately.
Q2: Does this hub support video output (HDMI / DisplayPort)?
A2: No. The HB3027 is a pure data hub focused on USB expansion. It does not support HDMI, DisplayPort, or DP Alt Mode video output. If you need a hub with video output, please ask about our dual-HDMI docking station models.
Q3: When do I need to connect the DC power input?
A3: The DC input is optional for light use (mice, keyboards, flash drives). We strongly recommend connecting a 5V/4A USB-C adapter when you plan to use multiple high-power devices at the same time — for example, two external hard drives, a phone being charged, and a USB fan together. This prevents voltage drops and device disconnections.
Q4: Can it charge my laptop through the USB-C upstream cable?
A4: No. The upstream USB-C port is for data transfer only and does not support PD passthrough charging to the host. The host laptop should remain connected to its own charger during use.
Q5: Will it work with my phone or tablet?
A5: Yes, as long as your device has a USB-C port that supports OTG or host mode. Most recent tablets and smartphones with USB-C work well for reading flash drives, connecting keyboards, and similar use cases.
Q6: What is the maximum transfer speed?
A6: All five downstream ports support USB 3.0 SuperSpeed at up to 5Gbps. Real-world speeds depend on the connected device and source — for example, a USB 3.0 SSD typically reaches 400–450 MB/s.
Q7: Do you accept OEM / ODM and private-label orders?
A7: Yes. We support custom logo printing, custom retail packaging, custom cable length and color, and private-label firmware labeling. Please contact our sales team with your requirements and target quantity — MOQ and lead times can be discussed based on customization scope.
Q8: What certifications does the product have?
A8: The HB3027 is CE certified. RoHS-compliant materials are used throughout. Additional certifications (FCC, UKCA, etc.) can be arranged for OEM orders depending on volume and target market.
Q9: What is the warranty?
A9: Standard wholesale warranty is 12 months from shipment date for manufacturing defects. Extended warranty and dedicated after-sales support are available for large-volume buyers and ODM partners.
Q10: What is the MOQ and lead time?
A10: MOQ for stock models is typically low (sample orders welcomed). For OEM/ODM projects, MOQ and lead time depend on the scope of customization — typically 500–1,000 pcs with 20–30 days lead time after artwork confirmation.
