Product Description
The HBC098W is a 14-in-1 USB-C docking station engineered for professionals who want a single device to handle display, data, network, audio and wireless device charging at the desk. A 15W Qi wireless charging pad is integrated into the top surface — drop a phone or earbuds onto the dock and they charge while you work, no extra accessory needed.

Video output runs through HDMI at up to 4K@60Hz via DP Alt Mode 1.4, with HDCP 1.4/2.3 support for protected content playback. The host Type-C port supports USB 3.2 Gen2 at 10Gbps and accepts a PD 3.0 input up to 100W, delivering up to 90W back to the connected laptop or phone with dynamic power allocation.
For peripherals, the dock provides one downstream USB 3.2 Gen2-A (10Gbps), one downstream USB-C (10Gbps), two USB 3.0-A (5Gbps) and one USB 2.0-A, covering everything from high-speed SSDs to keyboards and dongles. A gigabit RJ45 port delivers stable wired networking for video calls and large file transfers, while SD 3.0 and TF 3.0 card slots support simultaneous dual-card reading for photographers and content creators. Separate 3.5mm audio out and microphone in jacks complete the I/O.

Built from a CNC aluminum alloy shell, the unit dissipates heat quickly under sustained load and stays cool to the touch. It runs driver-free on macOS, Windows 7/8/10/11, Linux and Android, and is compatibility-tested across MacBook Pro, Surface Pro and Asus ZenBook platforms.
PURPLELEC is an 18-year ISO-managed factory in Bao'an, Shenzhen, offering OEM and ODM services on this platform — custom logo, packaging, port layout, firmware and color finish are all available for distributors and brand owners.

FAQ
Q1: Does the wireless charging pad work without plugging in a PD power adapter?
A1: It works at limited output. The pad delivers up to 15W only when both the PD input and the host Type-C cable are connected. Without external PD power, wireless charging falls back to approximately 5W.
Q2: Can the dock output 4K@60Hz to any HDMI monitor?
A2: 4K@60Hz output requires the host device to support DP Alt Mode 1.4. Hosts limited to DP 1.2 (older laptops and most phones) will output at 4K@30Hz. The HDMI port itself supports HDCP 1.4/2.3 for streaming services.
Q3: How much power can the dock deliver back to my laptop?
A3: With a 100W PD adapter connected to the PD input port, the dock delivers up to 90W to the host laptop or phone. The remaining wattage powers the dock's internal chips and downstream peripherals via dynamic allocation.
Q4: Do you support OEM and ODM customization?
A4: Yes. PURPLELEC is a Shenzhen-based factory with 18 years of 3C accessory manufacturing experience. We offer logo printing, custom packaging, port reconfiguration, color finish changes and firmware-level adjustments. MOQ and lead times depend on the scope of customization — contact our sales team for a quote.
Q5: Will the aluminum shell get hot under heavy load?
A5: The CNC-machined aluminum alloy shell is designed as a passive heat sink and dissipates heat from the internal hub, video and Ethernet chips. Under sustained full-load conditions the surface warms but stays within safe operating temperatures (0°C to +40°C ambient).
Q6: Can I read an SD card and a TF card at the same time?
A6: Yes. The SD 3.0 and TF 3.0 slots use independent controllers and mount as two separate drives in the operating system, allowing simultaneous reading and file transfer between the two cards.
