RTS5490 is a USB4 HUB Router controller that can connect to USB4/Thunderbolt platforms. It integrates all the ana-log and digital circuits required for applications into one chip, and can meet the USB4/USB3.2/USB2.0/Type-C/PD3.2/DP2.1 specifications.
RTS5490 has 1 upstream port and 4 downstream ports. The upstream port (UFP) can support USB4 Gen3x2, TBT3-Compatible, USB3.2 Gen2x2 and DP2.1 Alt mode.
Two full-function USB4 downstream ports can support USB4 Gen3x2, TBT3-Compatible, USB3.2 Gen2x2 and DP2.1 Alt modes according to the operation mode of UFP. The other two downstream ports are USB3.2 downstream ports, supporting USB3.2 Gen2x2.
The PC computing efficiency can be upgraded through RTS5490, and high-performance AI computing and high-specification game computing processing can be provided through an external Graphic card.
