  Background introduction of the solution:
With the development of recording and broadcasting, more and more customers have a clear demand for high-definition video. The new Intel CPU can better support high-definition video, and high-definition cameras are gradually being used more and more, and the price is getting lower and lower. Signal transmission has become the biggest problem in the development of high-definition recording and broadcasting. In the past, component signals could be transmitted through 3 coaxial cables, but because component signals are analog signals, long-distance transmission will cause blurred images and even water ripples and ghosting. HDMI is also a common HD interface. HDMI can transmit high-definition images without loss, but it can generally only transmit 20-30 meters, and the price of wires is relatively expensive. Using an HDMI extender will increase costs and reduce system reliability.
The SDI interface in high-definition signal transmission can solve the above problems well. The SDI interface has been widely used in the field of radio and television, digital transmission, and supports embedded audio. SDI is a digital signal transmitted through a 75 Ohms coaxial cable. This cable is widely used in the cable TV industry and is easy to purchase. 1080p60 can transmit 100m, and 1080i60 can transmit more than 200m. At present, PTZ conference cameras commonly used in the recording and broadcasting industry generally have SDI interfaces. Mid-range cameras produced by SONY/ Panasonic/Canon generally have SDI interfaces.

  Solution:
For the needs of high-definition recording and broadcasting, Bodeyue launched the VS2584 integrated high-definition audio and video capture card, which can simultaneously capture 2 SDI channels and 1 universal high-definition video signal. The SDI signal fully supports SD/HD/3G standards, and SDI can embed audio. 1 DVI-I universal high-definition video signal supports VGA, DVI, HDMI, component, and CVBS signal input. VGA capture has the industry's best automatic resolution judgment and automatic picture adjustment engine and rich video processing functions. The captured picture is clear and automatically detects dynamic switching of various resolutions. The host interface adopts PCI Express x4, and the actual transmission rate can reach 600-800MB/s.
Bodeyue VS2584 integrated high-definition audio and video capture card can complete the acquisition of 2 SDI high-definition signals and 1 VGA signal with one card. Compared with choosing multiple cards for sharing, it effectively reduces user costs and greatly improves system reliability. It consumes only 8W of power to simultaneously acquire 3 high-definition signals, effectively reducing system power consumption and occupies a low CPU rate. Image processing such as scaling and de-interlacing that consumes CPU time is completed in the FPGA, greatly reducing the burden on the CPU. At the same time, the high-efficiency DMA transmission method further liberates the CPU's capabilities, allowing the CPU to focus on user-specified tasks.
