  TB017M1 is a USB4 M.2 NVMe hard disk enclosure. It uses the ASM2464PD controller launched by ASMedia Technology, a subsidiary of ASUS. The single chip supports USB4 40Gbps/Thunderbolt 40Gbps high-speed protocols and is compatible with USB3.2 20Gbps/10Gbps/5Gbps mainstream protocols. The theoretical bandwidth of the USB4 interface can reach 40Gbps, which is 8 times higher than the most common 5Gbps USB3.2 Gen1.
