USB C to HDMI Adapter User Guide
In today's digital office and entertainment scenarios, USB C to HDMI adapters have become a powerful assistant for connecting devices to large-screen displays. It allows devices equipped with USB-C interfaces, such as laptops, smartphones, and tablets, to easily connect to HDMI display devices such as TVs, monitors, and projectors. The process of using the USB C to HDMI adapter is very simple, and the specific steps are as follows:

Physical connection: Accurately insert the USB-C plug of the adapter into the USB-C port of the device (such as a laptop, smartphone, or tablet) to ensure a firm connection. Next, connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port of the adapter, and then connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the corresponding interface of an HDMI-compatible display, such as a TV, monitor, or projector.
Automatic connection and signal transmission: After completing the above connection, the adapter automatically detects the device connection status and immediately starts transmitting video and audio signals from the USB-C device to the display. In most cases, the display can now display the device content normally.
Adjust display settings (if necessary): If the display does not display properly or you want to adjust the display effect, you can adjust the display settings as needed. For example, select the correct input source. Some TVs or monitors may have multiple HDMI input interfaces. You need to use the remote control or device button to select the interface that corresponds to the adapter connection. To configure the video output, such as switching between mirror mode and extended mode, there are different operations in different operating systems.
macOS system: First connect the USB-C to HDMI adapter and the HDMI display. Then, click the Apple icon in the upper left corner of the screen, select "System Preferences", and enter the "Display" option. In the "Arrangement" tab, you can see the "Mirror Display" or "Extended Display" options. Select the desired mode by checking or unchecking the "Mirror Display" option. In addition, you can also use the keyboard shortcut "Command + F1" to switch the display's mirror mode (some Mac models may vary).
Windows system: After connecting the USB-C to HDMI adapter and the HDMI display, right-click on the desktop and select "Graphics Options" or "Display Settings". In the display settings, there will be an option to "Extend these displays" or "Duplicate these displays". Select the preferred mode and click Apply Changes. You can also use the keyboard shortcut "Windows key + P" to quickly pop up the display mode selection menu to switch modes.
In mirror mode, the adapter will copy the entire screen of the USB-C device to the HDMI display. The two screens display exactly the same content, which is suitable for sharing the device screen with others. In extended mode, the HDMI display is regarded as an independent auxiliary screen, which can expand the device desktop and realize dual-monitor settings. Users can drag and drop windows or applications between the two screens to expand the workspace. Whether to choose mirror mode or extended mode depends entirely on personal specific usage needs and preferences.
