USB-C dock brings triple-screen support to the M1 Mac

While Apple’s early M1-based Macs could only officially support a single external display, there are ways to get around this limitation.Anker today unveiled a new 10-in-1 USB-C dock that offers just that.
The Anker 563 USB-C Dock includes two HDMI ports and a DisplayPort port, which utilizes DisplayLink to transmit multiple video signals over a single connection.Given that this hub operates over a single USB-C cable, there are bandwidth limitations that limit the quality of monitors you can connect.

Update May 20: This article has been updated to illustrate that the dock uses DisplayLink instead of Multi-Stream Transport to support multiple monitors.
