How to Connect Nintendo Switch Console to TV?

Connecting a Nintendo Switch to your TV is very simple. Here are the 7 easy steps to prepare and set up your Nintendo Switch:
1、Prepare the Docking Station: Open the door on the back of the dock, plug one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI OUT port, plug the small end of the power cord (model no. HAC-002) into the AC ADAPTER port, close the dock's door, and plug the power cord into a wall socket.
2、Attach the Joy-Con Controllers: Slide the Joy-Con controllers onto the sides of the Switch screen. If you haven't attached them before, you'll need to register them to the console first to use them wirelessly.
3、Dock the Switch: Align the female port on the bottom of the Switch screen with the male port in the dock and slide the Switch screen into the dock until it connects securely.
4、Connect HDMI to TV: Locate the HDMI IN ports on your TV, which can be found on the back, side, or both, choose an available port with the lowest number and connect the other end of the HDMI cable to it.
5、Power On the System: Turn on the Nintendo Switch by pressing its power button.
6、Select the Correct Input on the TV: If the TV doesn’t automatically display the Switch screen, use the TV remote to select the correct HDMI input by pressing the Source, Input, or similar button, or a symbol, on the remote, cycle through the HDMI inputs until you find the one your Switch is connected to, and some TVs may require you to use arrow keys to select the input and press Enter to confirm.
7、Follow On-Screen Instructions: Once the Switch screen appears on the TV, follow any on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
Both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch OLED models have similar setup processes, with the main difference being the port structure. The OLED model has its HDMI port in the middle, above the LAN port, while the standard model has it at the bottom, below the USB port. Both models have the AC port at the top.
