Is it better to use type-C or USB3.0 as the interface of the docking station?

  USB2.0 and 3.0 are data transmission protocols, and Type-c is the interface type interface appearance. Type-c can transmit data because it uses the USB protocol. So if you use a Tvpe-c docking station to connect a USB flash drive or a USB3.0 HUB docking station to connect a USB flash drive, the principle is the same!

  Check the level of your computer’s USB and C ports, it depends on which interface has a higher level!
  USB protocol, not only USB2.0, but also USB30, 31, 3.2, 4.0
  USB2.0: 480Mbps (60MB/s), supports 4.5W power supply;
  USB3.0: His name is USB32Gen1): 4.8Gbps (625MB/s) supports 4.5W power supply;
  USB3.1: (his name is USB32Gen2x1): 10Gbps (900MB/s), supports 100W power supply; in order to retain its strength, its actual effective bandwidth is approximately 72Gbps (900MB/s);
  USB3.2: (also called USB32Gen2x2): 20Gbps, supports 100W power supply; USB4.0: maximum transfer rate: 40Gbps (5000MB/s), supports 100W power supply.
  Type-C interface has become a trend. Currently, notebooks are equipped with Type-C interface as standard. Apple MacBook even only has Type-C interface. The newly released iPad Pro in 2023 even uses Type-C interface. Therefore, I recommend that the docking station directly connects to the Type-C interface.
