What are the advantages of HDMI and DisplayPort interfaces?

Compared with HDMI, DisplayPort has the following advantages:
Support higher bandwidth: DisplayPort can support higher resolution and refresh rate, as well as deeper color bit depth.
More flexible connection method: DisplayPort can be connected through optical fiber and cable, unlike HDMI which can only be connected by cable.
More multitasking capabilities: DisplayPort can support multiple monitor setups at 4K resolution and daisy-chain (one-to-many) connections, while HDMI does not have these features.
Compared with DisplayPort, HDMI has the following advantages:
Wide application: HDMI is one of the most common digital interfaces for consumer electronics devices. Most TVs, projectors, game consoles and home theaters support HDMI interfaces.
Better audio transmission capabilities: HDMI can transmit high-quality audio signals in one cable, while DisplayPort only provides standard audio transmission.
Lower cost: HDMI is relatively low-cost and has wider support for video playback and TV applications.
Both DisplayPort and HDMI are excellent digital interfaces, and which one is better for you depends on your specific needs. If you need high resolution, high refresh rate, and a multi-monitor setup, DisplayPort is a better choice; but if your application is broader and requires high-quality audio transmission, HDMI may be more suitable.
